Sewonderlens - Jogja International Student Photography & Film Competition is an international competition for photo and film works made by students. We want to appreciate all the photos and films produced by students from all over the world. Sewonderlens is organized by The Recorded Media Arts Faculty of ISI Yogyakarta. Previously, this competition was known as The Semar Festival, starting in 2017, and later as The Golden Semar Award in 2022. This year, the competition will expand to the international level under the name Sewonderlens - Jogja International Student Photography & Film Competition. We hope this expansion will inspire the young generation to constantly enhance the quality of their work and expand their opportunities to gain the possible network at the international level.

Sewonderlens - Jogja International Student Photography & Film Competition accepts photo and film works from all genres and themes, with special attention given to works that align with this year's theme, "Lens of Change." We aim to dig into the dynamics of ongoing social transformations in our society. Artists are challenged to convey and express messages related to these changes through their photos or films. As an international student competition with participants from numerous countries, this event seeks to provide an insightful perspective on the diverse dynamics of change experienced by each country.
